This version of Atlantis introduces support for the DOCX, a new document format of MS Word 2007. Atlantis can now both open and save documents in the DOCX format.

You can open DOCX documents in Atlantis in the same way as you open documents of other types. Just choose the "File | Open..." menu command of Atlantis, and select the desired DOCX file. In order to display available DOCX documents in the "File | Open..." dialog of Atlantis, you should choose the new "MS Word 2007 (*.docx)" filter from the "Files of type" box at the bottom of the dialog. Alternatively please choose the "All Document Types" or "All Files (*.*)" filter:

To save the active document in Atlantis as DOCX, choose the "File | Save As..." menu command of Atlantis, and select the corresponding format from the "Save as type" box at the bottom of the dialog:

You can also make DOCX your default document format for new documents in Atlantis. For this, choose
the "File | New | Formats & Templates..." menu command of Atlantis.
